SINCE OUR BEGINNINGS IN 1981:
• NET has grown from a one-month pilot project of the St. Paul Catholic Youth Center
• Over 25,000 retreats have been conducted
• 1.6 million youth have been reached
• 1,822 young adults have been trained in youth evangelization
MEMBERS:
• Commit to nine months of service, from September to May
• Raise $4,000 in sponsorship from their community in support of their year
• Travel 20,000 miles in a van as part of their team of 8-14 men and women volunteers
• Lead retreats six days a week (8 of the teams) OR serve on a team committed to one parish for nine months (2 of the teams)
• Invite youth to embrace their faith and cultivate a personal relationship with Christ
• Each year the NET teams conduct a total of approximately 1000 retreats
